For those who love small rivers and enjoy the art of fly fishing for wild brown trout in a truly wild river system.  It is unlikely that you will meet anyone on your visit - with an incredible variety of beats, beautiful countryside and testing fishing. Think small flies, short rods and peering over reed margins to pick your quarry.

Enjoy our Working Parties. Enjoy our Fly Tying Evenings.

Twelve times a year, we grab flasks of coffee and waders and head out to do some stuff for a few hours. It's not serious, it's voluntary and it does the river some good.  Or grab a pint and enjoy some banter whilst creating a Wickhams Fancy.
